Fone Haus proudly unpacked the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Series on Thursday, February 27, at the iconic APEC Haus. The event brought together business leaders, tech enthusiasts, and special guests for an exciting evening celebrating innovation and cutting-edge technology.
The launch featured representatives from Samsung New Zealand alongside Amy Tomlinson, Group General Manager Retail, who officially introduced the next-generation Galaxy S25 Series to the Papua New Guinean market.
To showcase the advanced features of the Galaxy S25 Series, Fone Haus curated three experiences for their valued guests:
- Perfect Camera Experience – Offering a hands-on look at the powerful new camera system, featuring a 360-degree phone booth and interactive displays that demonstrated the phone’s Activate anti-shake video stability, enhanced zoom capabilities, superior night mode, and pro-grade photography tools.
- Galaxy AI and Phones Display – Allowing guests to have a play with the new phones and get a feel of S25’s Galaxy AI capabilities, a true AI companion from real-time language translation to personalized task automation.
- Advanced Performance – Showcasing the S25’s lightning-fast processor, with live gaming demos by the Coders Club of Port Moresby, putting the phone’s impressive speed and graphics to the test.
Guests explored these interactive zones with guidance from Fone Haus teams and the Coders Club from IBS University, reinforcing how the Galaxy S25 Series pushes the boundaries of productivity, creativity, and entertainment.
Adding to the night’s significance, members of the Young Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YPOMCCI) were in attendance. YPOMCCI President, Charlie Hulijeli, spoke passionately about the organisation’s mission to empower young entrepreneurs and professionals. Fone Haus reaffirmed its ongoing support for YPOMCCI’s initiatives, underscoring its commitment to strengthening the local business community.
As the evening grew to a close, guests participated in an auction of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, generously donated by Jim Gui, Managing Director of the NWTL Group. The bidding saw Dhawal Patel from Ela Builders and Contractors secure the winning bid of K7,500, with all proceeds going to support YPOMCCI’s initiatives.
Reflecting on the event, Charlie Hulijeli shared:
“YPOMCCI is proud to be part of this incredible unpacked event. It was a great platform to share our vision and upcoming initiatives. The auction of the Galaxy S25 Ultra raised K7,500 to support our work, and we deeply value the support from Fone Haus.”
Speaking about the night, Amy Tomlinson added:
“The Samsung Galaxy S25 Series represents a bold step forward in mobile technology. We’re excited to bring these exceptional devices to PNG and even more thrilled to share this moment with our community, from tech lovers to the young professionals shaping the future of business in Port Moresby.”
The night wrapped up with the exciting announcement of an exclusive partnership between Fone Haus and Digicel, offering 12 months of free data and talk packages with every Samsung Galaxy S25 Series purchase. Customers will enjoy 12GB of data and 120 minutes of talk time each month for a year. On top of the free Samsung Buds already included with S25 purchases.
